1. Bust & Bodice Fit

• The bodice should feel secure and supportive without slipping or gaping.

• You should be able to raise your arms and hug without discomfort.

2. Waistline

• The waist seam should sit exactly at your natural waist (or the gown’s designed waistline).

• No bulging or excess looseness when standing straight.

  
  

3. Hips & Skirt

• The skirt should skim smoothly over the hips without pulling or distortion.

• If it’s a fitted silhouette (like mermaid or sheath), you should still be able to sit and walk comfortably.

  
  

4. Hemline Length

• With your wedding shoes on, the hem should graze the floor or hover about ½ inch above.
